As a current under graduate student at Amity University, Noida India who is passionate about the discipline of biotechnology, I am writing to apply for the Research Intern position. I became aware of your company while searching about the well-known companies for the particular trait; your company is a leader in the advancement of biotechnology research, which is why I am particularly interested in your company. My undergraduate degree in Biotechnology gave me a strong background in biotechnology, along with additional skills gained through coursework in genetic engineering, computational languages like C, C++, pearl, DBMS and Others, Mathematics and Statistics. I am currently working towards my masters of business administration in biotechnology, which will allow me to apply those skills to a position in the biotechnology arena. Last summer I had the opportunity to work with one of the highly knowledgeable professor Dr. Shoma Paul Nandi of Amity University, where I participated in Screening of antimicrobial activity of a plant extracts. This project involved antimicrobial bio assays, high throughput screening, data analysis; I had a theoretical over view of Determination of Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) and the use of automated laboratory equipment.
I would be very excited to participate in work on a similar subject .In order to gain practical knowledge in research environment and to explore more and clear the concepts about potential benefits of biotechnology .I wish to perform   4-6 months training from august 2015 onwards under your guidance. I want to hold some new experiences in your labs so as to as flourish my managerial skills and work for research and development.
If I am given the chance to work in your group, I am certain that due to my previous training and my enthusiasm for the subject, I will be able to make a meaningful contribution to your research effort. I am really interested in the hands –on intern ship, and from what I have read I believe that  your such position in research  and development field will provide me with a truly valuable experience  and I would like to appreciate a few minutes of your time for noticing my request
