First of all I would like to thank you with immense respect for your detailed input and suggestions for GATE aspirants and also Biotechnology aspired people in general. I have read most of your threads it is very insightful and very well explained in detailed. I just wanted to say that because it helps people to make proper decisions.

I am an BTech Biotech Graduate and have 4 years of research experience in molecular genomics and brief exposure to bioinformatics. At present sincerely trying to become an Computational Researcher.

I have couple of questions related to become an Computational Researcher
1. Is an MS enough or doing PhD is necessary to excel in this field?
2. What are the other institutes other than IIIT HYD and IIT chennai that is doing work on Genomics?
3. Any other suggestion, Advices to achieve my professional goal as an Computational Researcher
