Hi,

It depends upon the career you wish to jump into..

In general, you are expected to be well versed in following Subjective (Competencies) :
a) Molecular Biology
b) Bioinformatics (Molecular Dynamic Simulations, NGS and Data management, Genomics, Proteomics, Shell scripting/perl/python)
c) Microbiology
d) Patho-Biology
e) Biochemistry

Non-Subjective competencies involve:
a) Wet lab skills (ability to handle sensitive tissues)
b) Analytical bent of mind
