Sir,I am doing my MSC in botany from Calcutta university.. I am preparing for gate xl 2017.can I apply for mtech biotechnology course in different IITs and nit after qualifying gate.??and will it be a direct admission or I have to go through an interview? Please reply..it will be a serious help..I am extremely confused.

Hello Dia,
Yes you can apply in most IITs (the cut off will be different than GATE BT though).
It wont be a direct admission, you will have to go through written test and interview in most IITs.
