a DNA strand of length 25nm wraps diametrically around the circumferance of a spherical histone octamer once.the radius of the histone-octamer is
Circumference of a sphere or circle = 2πr = πD

So, here, 3.14 × D = 25nm
D = 25/3.14 nm
r = 25/6.28 nm
= 3.98nm

I choose option 1
If the cleavage takes place at the point denoted by "2 kb", two fragments will be generated..... 2 kb + 8 kb..... Only option with 8 kb is option 1.....

Should be option B, indicating an initial increase of bacterial load followed by clearance by immune system
