Doing an MBA in Biotechnology won't fetch you any good job. Better pursue an MBA in below mentioned Fields:
MBA in Health Care / Health management OR MBA in marketing & Strategy, MBA in HR Management , MBA in Project Management, MBA in Operations Management.

Reputed Institutes for pursuing MBA : - - - Indian School of Business (ISB) Hyderabad
- National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) Mumbai accepts GATE score
- IIMs accept CAT score.

Doing an MBA in Biotechnology won't fetch you any good job. Better pursue an MBA in Health Care (it has bright career prospectives).

I guess u really read things superficially , ISB and institutes which u mentioned they want work experience too along with GATE and CAT scores. Those who do MBA in healthcare have experience of the field which is a prerequisite.
@ Komal please explore Masters in Public health ( MPH) options in India and it can get u anywhere starting primary healthcare system to policy making organisation

Sorry But I didn't mention anything for ISB.I have just listed name of ISB under reputed Institutes for MBA.Yes, ISB do require experience of the field. But it's a premiere Institute companies like Biocon hire students from this Institute.

Admission Procedure for NITIE and IIMs : firstly screening of candidates is done on the basis of scores of entrance exams mentioned above and further it is followed by written exams or Personal Interview of the screened candidates.

I would like to suggest @Muskan that you should go through the forum and find posts of Sunil sir regarding MBA and do check out the websites of these Institutes.

@Vishwanath Please feel free to post whatever you think is right in your opinion but it would be better if you do it without condescending anyone.

Biocon prefers proper science masters they don't go for MBA, they train students themselves for the specific purposes. And doing MBA in any such science field is not at all a good Idea. There will be 1 in 10 who is going to be successful

And these companies want specialists in every field if they want entrepreneurs they will go for pure MBAs and if they need science people they go for PhDs and MScs.

ISB and NITIE both are mentioned there and they both are business schools.
Obviously ISB gives MBA .I think now you are reading queries superficially. Please note that We are only talking about the MBA prospects as Muskan has asked about the MBA prospects then why I should mention the M.Tech/MSc./ PhD. Prospects here. There are different threads for it. Though it's common sense that Biocon ( being a Biopharmaceutical ) hires Science students and everyone already knows about it. But you should notice that how any company can hire Science students for other than technical/production aspects. What about the other aspects of the company? Who will manage business, Marketing, HR and other aspects?
Get your facts right. There are many individuals who are alumni of ISB and They are working with Biocon.
I think you are here just for condescending people .

You yourself have written Biocon Don't hire MBA then what about these people?
