Particular Lifestyle is one of the main causes which may lead to cancer. Such life style includes bad hobbits related to diet, sleep, stress and exercises. Diet is one of the important aspects of healthy life style. Some diets improve health while some affects health. Bad Diet is one of the factors which may trigger a way towards cancer. But the good thing is that lifestyle related factors like diet are preventable. Another important factor of lifestyle is addiction.
Addiction to tobacco, drugs, alcohol etc causes cancers. A person’s lifestyle should be free from any such addiction. It has been estimated that around 50 % of cancers in men are due to consumption of tobacco and other such cancer causing agents. Therefore appropriate changes in lifestyle can reduce the mortality. Diet cause is predominant among cancers of the oesophagus, upper aero digestive tract that is throat and mouth, stomach, large intestine etc.
High fat content food , meat consumption are risk factors while at the same time a diet rich in fruits , green and yellow vegetables protects against many cancers. Food with high anti-oxidants helps in prevention of cancer. High anti-oxidant food includes carrot which contains Beta carotenoid, Dark color fruits and vegetables etc. Consumption of large quantity of red chilies, food at very high temperature and other additions like alcohol consumption together increases the chances of cancer of digestive system like stomach etc.
Apart from this, a lifestyle which is stress free, or has stress depressor helps to increase factors which prevent cancers. Regular exercise of at least 30 minutes a day can significantly reduce risk of cancer as well as other diseases. Thus, Healthy Lifestyle and good dietary habits keeps diseases away !
