The Green Revolution in Sub-Saharan Africa
#3
Considering the fact the countries in Sub Saharan Africa are behind in the Green Revolution #track. Yes, genetically modified seeds are being produced but very few countries in this region grow genetically modified seeds, South Africa only, and the rest do not want anything to do with GM crops. I am from Zimbabwe, and the issue of GM seed has fallen on deaf ears. What can be done to help ensure a general understanding of GM production amongst the general populous, such that they are able to like really get the BIGGER picture of what GM is?
