The Bright Future of Astrobiology

Hello s00z15,

Not only after 10 years, I believe astrobiology has been at its best right now as well. Russia, China and US have always been in a quest to reach beyond the earth and look for Alien life / signs of life in outer space. Looking for signs of life supporting compounds and matter on Moons and Mars may be cited as the best example. Also, recently NASA chief scientist Ellen Stofan was quoted saying that they expect to find signs of alien life within coming decade. All this strongly suggests the degree of activity going on in the field of Astrobiology; and undoubtedly, Astrobiology had a very interesting past, has a progressive present and definitely a  bright future ahead.
