Dear Sir,
I have completed MSC in biotechnology in 2005 and I don't have any experience in this particular field. I have experience in exporting companies, BPO companies.
But now I would like to go to abroad or gulf countries. So can you suggest me any short term job oriented course through which i can apply for a secure job in hospitals, or in any medical companies in abroad.

Hello everyone ,
my name is Malay.I got AIR 22 with a score of 774 in GATE 2016.I'm gonna be sharing about my M Tech interview experience in IIT Bombay.Every yr the cut off for getting a call from IIT Bom is different.Last yr it was around 625 and this yr it was above 400 comparably lower than it's prev. yrs.I had applied for both Biomedical Engg and CESE (Environmental Engg.) and got a call from both. After u get a call, specified dates are provided for both Written tests and intervw in Biomed and for intervw only in CESE.I was more interested in Biomed. Engg and so, preferred it over CESE. The ques. in written tests are all objective type with 30 one mark ques. from Biology(mainly Human Physiology and some topics from Gate syllb.) and 15 two mark ques. from Maths with 1/3 -ve marking in each ques. The ques. are all conceptual based and quite easy. The results are mainly announced on the same day the test is beng held(after 4 hrs). The interviews are taken the next day of only them who cleared the written test.I had to wait 2 hrs before giving the intervw. In interview, at first they asked me 1. " tell something about yourself". 2. Why Biomed? 3. Asked me about my fav. sub. and ques. on that 4. Lastly, they gave me 2 equations and told to draw the curves x^2+y^2=25 and y^2=e(-x).sinx.
Follow the CBSE NCERT text books for the written tests and prepare one or two sub. very well for the intervw.
Hope it helps

I passed my 12th boards last year(2015) with 92%. I gave AIPMT last year but I was getting a dental seat so I thought of trying again. This year because of the whole NEET fiasco I feel really apprehensive even though I am pretty sure of getting a seat in Dental course again.
I am interested in Biotechnology and I have enrolled myself in Lovely Professional University for BSc-Msc integrated Biotechnology course as a backup.
I just want to know whether there is enough scope for a Biotech student in India. If yes, then what is the starting package.
Also, will be better to opt for a Dental course or Bsc in Biotech?
I am really in a fix. Please help.
Regards,
Aditi.

Hello.. sir I want to know that is there any jobs in foreign countries apart from usa after competing bsc or Msc in biotechnology. If any I would like to know the procedure to apply for it and the major Biotech companies related to it.
And which msc programme should I choose, which is more demanding and best after completing bsc in biotechnology, so that I can get a foreign job.

Dear Sir
I have a question regarding my career in the field of biotechnology. My Qualifications are:
10th grade : 7.4 CGPA
12th grade : 69.8%
(with PCB)
Current Studies : Bsc (Hons) Biotechnology (completed 1st year in 2016)
DAV College, Chandigarh
I want to pursue my career in the field of Biotechnology (MS) but outside India. I belong to a Middle class family so would like to opt for scholarships (if available). Kindly let me know these few things:
1) Whether Bsc (hons) Biotechnology from India has a proper value in abroad or not, as I've been told by many of my friends that bachelors degree of India has no value in abroad (especially Canada , US, UK, Australia).
2) Which Universities are the Best ones?
3) Which field in Biotechnology should I pursue in ? ( like : environment biotech , etc)
4) And if not in abroad, what are the exams and Best reputed Colleges or Universities to opt for?
5) Career in India?
6) How much money in all ( including tuition fees, living expenses) would be required for studying abroad?
Hope to hear from you soon.
Thank You

Hi everyone,
I am an applicant of the Second Career program here in Ontario Canada and I have some very simple questions for you all regarding your work environment. I am Hoping to enter into a Biotech program and as part of my application I require some occupational information, so please if you have the time, feel free to share your answers to these questions.
Succinct answers to the following would be very appreciated. Please also leave your name and country if possible.
Questions:
1: What background is required for someone starting in this occupation?
2: What are the starting rates of pay, and what is the pay level for a fully experienced person?
3:What are the working conditions? (Noisy, dust fumes, heat, cold, inside work, outside work, etc.)
4:Is the work seasonal; are there regular lay offs in this occupation?
5:What are the physical requirements of the job? (lifting, Sitting, Bending, standing, etc.)
6:What are the positive and negative aspects of this occupation?
7:What type of education (courses/ schools) and training do employers require of applicants for this occupation?
8:What is the future employment outlook for this occupation?
9:What employers could I contact about job openings after I have completed my eductation?
Thank you all very much for your time!
