Hi,
If I am not wrong, Rajiv Gandhi Institute of IT and BT is affiliated to Bhartiya Vidyapeeth. While Dr. DY Patil Biotechnology and Bioinformatics institute is affiliated to DPU (it's own group). I haven't heard good about the placement prospects of Dr. DY Patil Biotechnology and Bioinformatics institute (campus placements are rare). RGITBT would be a slightly better choice when the two are compared. Reason:
1) Nice infrastructure and facilities
2) Aura of association with the very famous BVP.
I am not aware of the placement prospects of RGITBT (though they speak high about it), but I have personally been to the campus, and I appreciate their inputs to the facilities atleast.
Recommend you to personally interact with a couple of alumni of the two institutes before making the decision. If possible, do visit both the campuses to compare their facilities. Some of my friends are from DPU, but they never spoke high about the college.
Hope it helps
Best wishes
