Thank you sir. Would you please tell me what are the career options if I do B.Sc and what are the career options if I do B.tech ? I want to become a researcher . Can I do research after B.tech ?

Career options after BSc:
You must go for MSc (JAM helps you in getting MSc from IITs) from a reputed college.
Appear for CSIR UGC NET/GATE/DBT after MSc: This will open up flood gates of opportunities: Teaching post, Research fellow post/Associate post/PhD position.

Getting a corporate job after BSc/MSc is very difficult. PhD remains the next career target after MSc.

Career options after B.Tech:
Can get into any corporate company (non-core). Core companies often recruit Masters students for good positions. Marketing roles are open for B.Tech in Core companies.

You may appear for GATE/CSIR UGC NET/DBT to apply for Masters/PhD positions.

Yes you can do research during and after B.Tech. MS(Research) would be a good degree to opt for doing research after B.Tech/MSc. You will need to crack GATE for doing so from a good institue.

If you keep enrolling yourself for good researcg projects during your B.Tech, you will definitely have a very bright future.
